INTACH is organising a heritage walk of Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore and the Vishnu temples around Chitrakulam on Aug 13, it is led by scholar-historian Dr. Chitra Madhavan.
The history of Mylapore, temple architecture, sculptures and other details will be highlighted from the streets around the temples, and not inside the temples.
Meeting point is outside Giri Trading, near the eastern gopuram of Sri Kapali Temple. The walk is free. No prior registration is necessary. 6.30 a.m. onwards.
