A music competition on varnam’s and Tamil songs will be conducted by Tharaka Manthiram Varna Malika Trust on Dec 24 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore. To encourage artistes (both vocalists and instrumentalists) who know more than 10, 100 and 1000 varnams, Dasa, Satha and Sahasra Varna Panditha awards will be given.
