Vipanchee’s annual art festival will be held from Dec 25 to 31 at Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Secondary School, Mylapore. The event will be inaugurated on Dec 25 by K. N. Ramaswamy, director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chennai in the presence of Dr. B. M. Sundaram, musicologist.
At the award function to be held on Dec 31, the chief guest Srimath Babaji Bhonsle Chattrapatti Maharaj, senior prince of Thanjavur will confer titles and present awards to several artistes.
Disciples of several noted bharatanatyam dancers including V. Balagurunathan, Dr. Priya Jayaraman and
Swamimalai. K. Suresh will be performing at this event.
