Sri Ramakrishna Math monks welcome the Governor of Nagaland

On Aug 24 evening, the devotees of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore were delighted to welcome the Governor of Nagaland, P. B. Acharya, who dropped in to interact with vice president, Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj and the other monks there.

A monk at the math says, “The governor has been associated with the math for a long time now. In 1965, when he worked in the north-east he got acquainted with Swami Gautamanandaji and has been in touch with him since then. He was here for an informal get-together and stayed with us for more than two hours”.

The governor, who enquired about the activities of the math and the contest in connection with the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago address promised to interact with students soon.
