Two events will be held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore this coming week
-The centenary of D. K. Pattammal and Muthuswami Dikshitar’s aradhana will be held on Nov 6 and 7. Several artistes including Amritha Murali, Bharat Sundar and Ramakrishnan Murthy will perform.
-Concerts and discourses will be held on Nov 8 and 9 as part of its diamond jubilee celebrations. Events include a talk on ‘Kanchi Mahaperiyava’ by Ganesa Sarma, ‘Maha periyava pancharathnam’ by Rukmini Ramani and her students and a recital by Kunnakudi Balamuralikrishna.
