Sanskrit College students win medals at elocution competition

At the All India Sanskrit Elocution competition conducted by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi (under the auspices of the ministry of human resource development, department of education, Govt. of India), three students from Madras Sanskrit College, Mylapore – Gaurav Sarma, Manish Kumar and Dattanubhav Gulab Tengse won gold medals in vykarna speech, vedanta speech and sankya yoga speech respectively.

Vaishnav K. K and Muthu Kumar. N won silver medals in Nyaya speech and purana and ithihasa recitation respectively. Merit certificates were also handed out to other students who participated in this event.

18 students participated in this event held at Agarthala, Tripura from Jan 6 to 9.
