A fitness enthusiast lost his smart phone to a criminal on Sunday morning on C. P. Ramaswamy Road in Alwarpet.
This person was jogging down the road when a person from behind lunged and picked up the phone.
Abiramapuram police are handling the case after a complaint was made.
Police have been warning people who walk or jog or draw kolams in front of their houses early in the morning to be aware of criminals who target such people when they are seen having smart phones on their person.
