Chennai-based Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, keen to provide the next generation of classical music artistes an opportunity to exhibit their talent is currently hosting YUVA SANGEET SAMMELAN 2019 in Chennai.
It is on from July 20 to 27 at Srinivasa Sastri Hall, Luz, Chennai.
Concerts are of short duration and three are held every evening from 4 p.m. onwards.
Registration for participation was announced earlier and artistes had to send audio / video recording of a kriti with Ragam, Niraval, Swaram not exceeding 20 minutes exclusively recorded for selection to this festival.
The sabha says the response was overwhelming
