Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home to launch skill development centre on Sept. 1

To commemorate the 125 th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago speech (September 11, 1893), and as a part of Centenary Celebrations of the Home’s main building, Ramakrishna Mission Students ‘ Home at P.S.Sivaswami Salai, Mylapore will be inaugurating its Vivekananda-BPCL Skill Development center on September 1 at 10 a.m.

This center located inside the Home’s premises has been constructed as a Green Building under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(BPCL). Its construction was on since the past few months.

The building extended over 35600 sq ft has been exclusively constructed to make the outgoing Polytechnic students of the Home industry-ready. It would have exclusive floors for training automobile, mechanical and computer engineering skills and for human resource development. It would also have state-of-art equipment and machinery, read a notice at Ramakrishna Mission Students ‘ Home.

Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President, Ramakrishna Math, and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math and Adhyaksha, Swami Suviranandaji Maharaj, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math, and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, D.Rajkumar, Chairman and MD, BPCL and several other dignitaries from BPCL will inaugurate the building.
