Students, well-wishers of late Brahmasri V. Rajagopala Ganapatigal to hold shraddanjali on Mar.8

Students and well-wishers of late Brahmasri V. Rajagopala Ganapatigal ( founder and editor of ‘Vaithikasri’ magazine and long time resident of Alwarpet/Mylapore area) are conducting a shraddanjali for their guru on March 8 at Asthika Samajam, Venus Colony from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., daylong events. under the guidance of pujya guruji Muralidhara Swamigal.

The students of Seetha Rama Gurukulam are behind this event.

Rajagopala Ganapatigal passed away on Dec.24, 2019 at his Alwarpet residence.

He hailed from a family of Deekshithars, was a salakshana ganapatee and was one of the leading Vedic scholars. He actively propagated Dharma Shastra with his discourses, meetings, publishing articles and conducting upanyasams.

He edited and published the monthly spiritual magazine ‘Vaithikasri’ and ran a traditional veda patashala called Seetha Rama Gurukulam.

His well-wishers says over one hundred vidyarthis have benefited from this patashala and graduated to become leading Vedic pundits over the last 25 years.

All the initiatives started by the late guru are being continued by his son Srikrishnan salakshana ganapatigal, also a Vedic scholar.
