With Karthigai Deepam just around the corner, people have started buying lamps for the festival.
On Thursday evening, several families were busy shopping earthern lamps from the hawker stalls at Mada Streets around Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple, Mylapore.
The hawkers here have stocked a range of lamps in different sizes. Price of lamps start from Rs 10.
