Following the recent rains, water level has considerably increased in the Adyar river off Thiru Vi Ka bridge in R.A.Puram. The river is almost full now.
And so, pedestrians and motorists are steadily dropping by this bridge to look at the beautiful sight of the river brimming with water. Many are seen clicking pictures of it too.
This afternoon, Bharadwaj and family who stay at Ragamalika Apartments in Mylapore had come here to see the river and shoot some pictures.
Said one of his family members, “Since yesterday, we have been hearing in the news that Adyar river is brimming with water. So when the rains reduced we came out especially to see it.”
