Members of the city unit of Hindu Munnani staged a protest this Friday morning in front of the eastern gate of Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple, Mylapore demanding that all temples be re-opened.
One member later said that when stores and markets had been allowed to be open under the relaxed regulations at pandemic time, temples must also be open to people.
The protest was held for a short while by a small group who held flags and placards.
