Rain has come down in parts across the Mylapore zone as it has across the city.
The rain clouds were thick on Friday past noon and the downpour was quick in some areas. The beach road off the Marina was flooded in some sections.
Residents in some areas have mentioned that rainwater that stagnates runs off after some time.
This could well be the time to check if the current rains are causing serious civic problem and why and report them to the local Chennai Corporation / Metrowater office.
