The community in Doomingkuppam in San Thome zone today celebrated the 111th birth anniversary of Mother Teresa.
A statu.e of Teresa that stands at one corner of this colony was decorated with flowers and through the morning people stopped by to pray in silence.
There are many such religious shrines dotting the seaside colonies here.
