Mornings are quiet and solemn inside the Sri Kapali Temple in Mylapore.
Today ( Sept.14) though, the regulars who must pray here every day were also welcomed into the sannidhis, access to which was curtailed due to pandemic time regulations.
This access is being tried out only for today and if the flow of people is manageable, the access order will be reviewed, say temple staff.
But mornings here draw only the people who reside in and around the temple zone; visitors stream in only after 11 am and in the afternoon.
