State health minister Ma. Subramaniam took part in a National Deworming Week event held this Monday morning at the indoor stadium of San Thome Hr Sec School in San Thome.
School children from local area Chennai Schools besides those from San Thome School were part of this event where the school kids were given deworming tablets to take.
Similar events were held across the state.
Besides the state health secretary, Mylapore MLA Dha. Velu was also on the stage for the formal event.
