Chief minister M K Stalin visited the Sivaji Ganesan Mandapam in R A Puram to pay his respects on a day that marks the actor’s 93rd birth anniversary.
Sivaji’s sons, Prabhu and Ramkumar and other family members were present. So were a few DMK seniors including the Mylapore MLA.
Traffic on this busy road piled up as the CM drove in and out for this short event at peak hour time.
The memorial is located next to the campus of Durgabhai Desmukh Hospital. It was raised by the state but does not have enough displays and materials to make it an interesting place to visit.
