The media and a few fans kept vigil outside the gates of Kauvery Hospital in Alwarpet on Friday morning as news got around that ‘superstar’ Rajinikanth had been admitted here after he complained of giddiness.
A few police officers were also posted here in case the crowd grew bigger which did not happen.
The hospital later put out a media release that the film start had undergone a carotid artery revascularisation and that he would remain in hospital for a few days.
