Sizeable attendance at churches on Sunday as places of prayer are now open all days

Local area churches welcomed the faithful this Sunday morning to religious services  as the state relaxed pandemic time rules and allowed places of prayer and worship to be open all days of the week.

Temples and mosques are also open now.

This Sunday, at Holy Masses that began at dawn in all the local churches, there was a sizeable attendance; some churches continue to ask people to attend Mass in batches to avoid crowding.

At Our Lady of Guidance Church on Lazarus Church Road, chairs were set outside the church for people to be seated freely, while inside, people were asked to sit apart. People are asked to sanitise and wear masks.
