HR &CE Dept. calls for Poonamallee Vellalar community to apply for trustee post at Sri Kapali temple

Within hours of Mylapore Times putting out the story on management change at the Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple (https://www.mylaporetimes.com/2021/10/high-court-order-will-see-management-changes-at-sri-kapali-temple/), the HR & CE departmernt has asked the Poonamallee Uyar Thuluva Vellalar community the original trustees of the temple to apply for the post.
An advert was put out in Thamizh in the dailies.
It is expected that based on the application,  very soon the temple will have and be run by a new Board of trustees.
It may be recalled that till the first half of the previous century the Poonamallee Vellalar community had been the trustees of Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple.
