People had darshan of the sani pradosham procession of Sri Kapaleeswarar from outside the eastern and western entrances of the temple on Saturday evening.
People aren’t allowed into places of worship this weekend following the pandemic restrictions imposed the TN government.
Following the procession at Sri Kapali Temple, many people then moved into South Mada Street at 6pm to have darshan of the sani pradosham procession at Sri Valleeswarar Temple.
Unmindful of the rain drops that began to fall on Saturday evening, people stood on the road to have a glimpse of Sri Valleeswarar as the procession inside stopped for a few minutes at the raja gopuram.
