The monthly ‘mikeless’ Carnatic music kutcheri at Nageswara Rao Park to be held on May 1 ( Sunday morning) features 13 year old Arjun Sai who will sing on this occasion.
Arjun Sai is a student of Chellammal Vidyalaya Senior Sec. School, Nanganallur. He is learning music from guru C. R. Vaidyanathan. He will be accompanied on the violin by Avantika Saravanan and on the mridangam by Sarang Raghavan.
The concert is held in the Chess Square zone at the rear side of the park, starts at 7 am, runs for an hour and is open to all. Mikes and speakers are not used in this concert, held every first Sunday of the month. This series is curated and supported by Sundaram Finance.
