  1. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A GREAT DEDICATION TO ST.THOMAS, THE APOSTLE, WHO BRAVELY CARRIED OUT THE MISSION ASSIGNED BY LORD JESUS, AND RISKED HIS LIFE IN ESTABLISHING CHRISTIANITY IN INDIA, IN BUILDING CHURCHES AND PREACHING THE WORD OF GOD,IN SEVERAL PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, AND WHEREBY WE HAVE ALL BECOME BELIEVERS. IT SHOULD BE THE PRIME IMPORTANCE OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN INDIA TO PROMOTE THE DIVOTION TO ST THOMAS ABOVE ALL OTHER DEVOTIONS, BY GIVING IMPORTANCE TO ESTABLISHING ST THOMAS MOUNT SHRINE AS A MOST SOUGHT AFTER PILGRIM CENTER
