The 20 day Vasantha Utsavam will start on Monday evening ( July 4) at the Sri Velleeswarar Temple, Mylapore.
There will be a procession of Sri Velleeswarar inside the temple at 7pm on the first nine days
culminating in a pancha moorthy procession through the Mada Streets on the 10th day ( July 13).
From July 14 onwards, there will be a 10 day Vasantha Utsavam for Sri Murugar.
A beautifully-designed tank was erected inside the temple complex on Sunday, ahead of the utsavam.
