The Indian triclour flag is on sale now at Post Offices in Mylapore, Teynampet and Mandaveli.
The flag’s dimesion is – 20inches X 30inches (20X30inches), is in cotton and costs Rs.25 per piece.
The flags are being sold and marketed following prime minister Narendra Modi urging people to hoist the tricolour in every home. This can be done from August 13 to 15 and the flag need not be taken down.
Sales are on from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all post offices. Sunday is a holiday.
