A special retreat was conducted on the Holy Rosary in Our Lady of Guidance Church at R.A. Puram on the 18th evening and 19th of August for the full day.
It was conducted by a layperson Bro. M. Dhanaraj Rodrigues.
The retreat reiterated the importance of families reciting the Holy Rosary on a daily basis and was a preparation for the Feast of Our Lady of Vailankanni on the 8th of September said Rev Fr Y F. Bosco, Parish Priest.
Lunch, tea and snacks were provided for the 125 people who participated in the retreat. After the retreat, a rosary weighing 53 kgs was carried by the participants and taken out in a small procession around the streets of the church.
It concluded with Holy Mass celebrated by Parish Priest Fr Bosco, Fr. Anthony Pitchai and Asst Parish Priest Fr Lourdes Marcel.
