As a part of Madras Day celebrations, the senior citizens of Ragamalika Apartments in Mandaveli went around Chennai in Chennai Metro train which many haven’t experienced.
16 women went first to New Woodlands Hotel for lunch and then went to the Marina Beach. The group held placards with slogans on Chennai. In many places, people asked the group the purpose of the trip and extended their help to guide us in the Metro.
The tour was wound up with a simple quiz about Madras – a tour of fun and laughter.
