The Alumni Association of Savithri Ammal Oriental Hr Sec. School, Mylapore is hosting a meet on campus on Nov.20 to honour teachers, especially the retired ones.
The event starts at 3 p.m. with high tea and informal conversations. The formal event follows, 3.30 p.m. onwards.
The Association invites all alumni of this school to attend – teachers and senior alumni will share warm anecdotes of school life at the event.
Said T S Ranganathan of the alumni group, “We have held events in the past to honour our teachers but there was a break due to the pandemic.”
