Within minutes of a heavy shower on Wednesday, the entire zone in front of Navarathri mandapam at Sri Kapali Temple was filled with water and this included filthy water.
After about 10 minutes, the filthy water spread across the pathway.
The temple managers would do well to redirect the rain water into an appropriate place within the temple complex away from the Navarathri mandapam area.
