Mylaporean cricketer Sai Sudarshan scores big century on Ranji debut

Cricketer Sai Sudarshan, a left hand opener,  scored a big hundred on his Ranji Trophy debut for Tamil Nadu against Hyderabad on Thursday.

Continuing his rich vein of form this season, he scored 179 runs, sharing a double century opening stand with Jagadeesan.

He had scored close to 700 runs in the first phase of the first division league in August-September this year and then scored almost 600 runs in the Vijay Hazare national one-day tournament.

Sai Sudarshan played for Gujarat Titans in the IPL this year.

He resides in Venkatesa Agraharam, Mylapore.
