Sunaadalahari, the music wing of Indira Ranganathan Trust presents a classical music festival this December. The festival will feature 30+ concerts and Lec-Dems from Nov 30 to Dec 11 and from Dec 26 – Dec 29.
These will take place at their garden amphitheater in Alwarpet’s C P Ramaswamy Road.
The festival will present several vidwans including Sudha Raghunathan, and S. Sowmya, to name a few, and talks and lecture demonstrations by artistes like T M Krishna, Arun Prakash and R K Shriram Kumar.
The raised funds will be used to support artistes who practice ancient art forms such as Villu Paatu, Therukoothu, Jalatharangam, etc.
