Lions Club of Chennai Pattinam celebrated Pongal festival at CSI School for the Deaf at San Thome on January 13.
Club members organised Rangoli and Pongal making competitions for the special kids along with their parents and teachers.
An inter-school volley ball competition was also held at this campus, Teams of St Bedes, St Marys and Don Bosco participated and the Don Bosco school team was the winner.
The traditional uri breaking competition was also held and it generated some fun.
Lions Club presented awards and prizes to the winners of the
competitions.
The club also presented a geyser to the school hostel at the event.
