G Vasantha, aged 83 years, passed away on January 17.
She was a long time resident of R A Puram.
She was the mother of Shankar, Ravi and Sheela.
Her family said that Despite losing her husband early in life, she lived her life fully. She enjoyed travel and visited many temples and places all over India.
She supported the cause of renovation of old temples renovation, supporting it in her own small ways, her family said.
