It answers to the call of Bhairavi and is wearing a black collar ; the dog went missing two days ago.
Kannan, its owner who lives in the park zone says that his rescued Beagle slipped out of his house when the main door was mistakenly kept open and since then, he has not sighted her.
” I have cycled around the area many times and have not had any luck,” he says. He has been running a social media appeal but though some people made contacts, the leads were ‘dead’ ones.
Kannan says that the chances of his pet dog walking back home is a bleak one because street dogs safeguard their ‘territory’ and drive out ‘outsiders’.
