Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School has one initiative which is popular – the ‘Internship Programme’ for students in the Plus1 and +2 level.
This is held in collaboration with many leading corporate companies – to provide students the direct exposure of working skills to choose their career.
The school recently conducted a kolam competition as part of new measures for students on ‘experiential learning’.
The school principal says it plans to conduct competitions and programmes on Carnatic music, folk songs and dance, vocal and instrumental music and club activities.
