Young women entrepreneurs pitch sales at Pop-up Sale of Alumni Club

The Alumni Club’S Pop-up Sale held last weekend ( Feb.19) at the Club’s campus in R. A. Puram featured 50 stalls – all set up by young women entrepreneurs.

Even as the sales created a buzz, there were talks by eminent people, sharing their positive stories.

Shobha Rajappa, an architect, spoke about women in business and Rukmani Padmanabhan, who runs an event management company spoke on the challenges faced by women in business. Shruti Hariharan, founder of Goli Soda, shared tips of how social media helps to promote business.

The Club has supported four NGOs by providing their teams stall space and promoting their projects.
