Sri Ramakrishna Mission Students Home is inviting economically poor boys to its standard school stream as well as to its polytechnic courses in Mylapore.

This is a hostel-based admission and accommodation, food and daily needs and study resources are provided.

Boys who have passed their Std.5 class can seek admission here to study.

Boys who have passed their Std.10 course and scored over 50% marks can join the polytechnic where courses are in mechanical, automobile and computer applications streams.

Boys who have passed their Plus Two exams with good marks can join the 2nd year of the polytechnic course.

Founded in the year 1905 by Swami Ramakrishnanandaji Maharaj, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Deva, the Students’ Home in Mylapore continues to empower the poor through quality education, for 116 years.

The Home runs a residential High School and a Polytechnic College.
