Kapali Temple prasadam to be taken to Murugan temple in Malaysia

Vastram and Prasadam from Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple is to be taken to the  Pathumalai Murugan Temple in Malaysia.

The trip is set to take place on Friday (May 19) when the 14-day Vasantha utsavam for Singaravelar concludes with a Mada Street procession.

One of the temple trustees will be travelling with the prasadam along with a couple of staff members.

It is likely that one of the Kapali Temple gurukals (mostly a non-hereditary priest) of the temple will also be making the trip as this is a ritual of presenting the temple prasadam to another temple deity.
