The R. K. Nagara community in R. A. Puram is organising a Waste Collection Camp this weekend.
With the assistance of three private agencies, the drive asks people from all over the Mylapore zone to drop off waste materials that are lying unused at home at the drop centre – the Chennai School on Sringeri Mutt Road, diagonally opposite the Mandaveli MRTS rail station.
Mildly torn or stained old clothes ( washed), electrical and electronic items, even tablet strips and X-ray sheets, paper, board, boxes, ballpoint pens and plastic items and toys can be dropped off here.
This camp is on May13 & 14. Timings: 10am – 5pm
