The students council investiture ceremony at M. Ct. M. Chidambaram Chettyar School, Luz Church Road, was a special campus event. It was held recently, for the academic session 2023 – ’24.
The Investiture ceremony commenced with the singing of Tamizh Thai vazhthu.
The school principal, vice-principal, academic co-ordinators’, cultural co-ordinators’ and House mistresses lit a lamp for the occasion.
The newly-elected council members marched to the stage, holding the school flag and their respective House flags.
The captain badges for the school captains, sports captains, cultural captains and the rest were pinned by the principal and others. Leaders of the RSP, Scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls groups also got badges.
The school captain administered the council members’ pledge. Class prefects and monitors were introduced by Parameswari, head of English department.
