Sprouts Montessori School based in Mylapore hosted a Shark Tank event recently. In the Shark Tank format, either the investors (called Sharks) or the entrepreneurs should convince the other side to accept the valuation of their business and negotiate a deal based on it.
Students role play and also learn the basics of a business.
All the students from classes 7 to 10 participated in the event.
Krishnan and his wife from Madhu Ethnics were the ‘Sharks’ and they posed challenging questions to the aspiring entrepreneurs, played by students.
The first position was bagged by Team OZ Bags ( on the idea of dealing with sustainable bags). The second position was secured by both ORCO (on organic perfume) and VENDI ( on healthy snacks).
