Dr Shubha Ganesan , Carnatic music vocalist and teacher who is based in the Mylapore zone, will be conducting an online workshop on Devi krithis for the Navratri season.
Compositions from Meenakshi Navarathna malika of Syama Sastri, Neelothpalamba Navavarnam & Abhayamba Vibhakthi of Muthuswami Dikshithar , Oothukadu Venkatakavi Kamakshi nava aavarnam, Chamundamba Ashtottara ShataNama of Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar, Navarathri Krithis of Swathi Thirunal, and Devi krithis of other composers will be taught.
Classes for Indian students : Sep 10 to 17. Classes will be conducted via Skype / Google Meet
For students in the USA : September ( Sundays) 10th, 17th 24th ; Oct 1st and 8th oct 15th from 9pm – 10 pm IST . Online classes.
