This play celebrates lives of few known freedom fighters. On Oct.2 morning. At R. R. Sabha

Nataka Kavalar Chemmal & R.S.Manohar’s NXGs will premiere its multi-lingual play titled ” IMMORTAL MARTYRS” on Gandhi Jayanti day, Monday, October 2  at 11 am at Rasika Ranjani Sabha, Mylapore.

The event is open to all.

This play highlights the lives of a few known and less-known freedom fighters of India.

The lives of these people will be dramatised in this play and in the languages of the region each of them hailed from  – Thirupur Kumaran, Velu Nachiyar, Aurobindo – in Tamil, Alluri Seetharama Raju in Telugu, Sangoli Rayanna in Kannada, Ali Musiliyar in Malayalam, Sardhar Udham Singh in Hindi, Loka Maanya Bala Gangadhar Thilak in Marathi, UK-based English Indian freedom fighter Charles Freer Andrews in English and Subramanya Bharathiyar in Sanskrit.

Artiste S. Sruuthi apart from co-directing this play along with her father S. Shivpprasadh will essay the role as Velu Naachiyar who led a courageous battle against the British, crossing the Sivaganga border.

S. Shivpprasadh, apart from producing this play portrays the lives of Thirupur Kumaran in Tamil,  Ali Musiliyar in Malayalam and Charles Freer Andrews in English.
