G. N. Ramaswami, a Mylapore resident and a senior chartered accountant by profession, has been elected president of Photographic Society of Madras (PMS), the second oldest photographic club in the world, established in the year 1857.
He is a passionate photographer and loves to explore photographic genres like wildlife, ancient architecture, natural landscapes and travel.
He is an active member of the Photographic Society of Madras (PSM).
At the Society’s recently-held AGM, Ramaswami was elected the president of the club. Narayanan Muthiah, Lakshmi Narayanan, and Lakshmi Srinivasan, were elected as the vice president, secretary and treasurer, respectively, along with other office bearers.
