Gerry Flavian Nazareth, 65 years of age, passed away on Feb. 27.
He was in charge of the parish office at Saint Lazarus Church in R. A .Puram. He joined the parish office team in 2004 and worked under several priests. He helped in managing the activities of the parish.
He co-ordinated memorable events like fancy fetes and fund-raisers for the needy affected by natural calamities like 2004 tsunami and several cyclones like Neelam and Vardha.
Gerry graduated in agriculture. He was engaged in farming activities in Mysore and Andhra Pradesh.
He is survived by his wife Anne Nazareth and son Richant Nazareth. The family lives at 18/33, Second Loop Street, Mandavelipakkam, Chennai 28 and can be contacted at 80561 87101.
His funeral service was held at Saint Lazarus Church and the burial at Saint Mary’s Road GCC cemetery in Mandaveli.
