On May 10, the “Lakes on Wheels ” themed mobile project visited Ragamalika Apartments in R. A. Puram to share the work that this NGO does.
This is an initiative of E.F.I – Environmentalist Foundation of India.
The team presented a short film on the condition of lakes in Chennai and then spoke to the audience on the importance of conserving these water bodies.
The team also had an exhibit inside the van showcasing experiments and models on Chennai’s water bodies.
The children who reside on this campus learnt about the importance of water preservation and the role they an play in conserving water bodies.
