When city quizzers had fun even as they tested themselves . . .

How do you get the quizzers of the city of Chennai excited to attend regular quiz events and also enjoy them?

The Quiz Foundation of India members, or the silver-haired seniors here, seem to have got some answers. And it showed at a recent quiz which was appropriately called ‘The Unusual Suspects’ head at at the Kaviko Centre in CIT Colony, supported by Zifo.

The QFI, which promotes quizzing in Chennai, has found attendance for quiz meets has been dropping.

So its core team chose to hold a contest where all those who had won in recent quizzes in the city and around would graciously step aside. The idea worked.

Some 100 plus people who turned up at the January 25 event had some good fun; with many here who were at a quiz for the first time. The quiz offered a few twists and turns; and with a prelim, semi-final and final round, the event allowed people to soak in and have some clean fun too.
