The annual sports prizes distribution event of Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School was held on March 26 at the campus in Mylapore.
The chief guest was M. S. Jayasri, principal of Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Secondary School; also present were V. S. Subramanian, S. K. Uma Shankar, Subbulakshmi and G. Gopal.
Trophies, certificates and goodies were handed over to the winners in various sports.
Chatak House secured the overall championship with 116 points. Hamsa House was the runner-up.
