Satwik Gade, an award-winning children’s book illustrator, comic artist, and political cartoonist, will be presenting a four-day comic workshop at Sprouts Montessori School, Luz Avenue on April 21, 22, 23 & 24.
Designed for children between the ages of 8 -14 years, the workshop will explore the art of
comic-making, guiding them through drawing expressive characters and crafting imaginative,
engaging stories.
Each session includes hands-on activities, encouraging young creators to experiment with
different storytelling techniques, including humor, mixed media, and digital comics. By the end
of the workshop, every participant will have a completed comic of their own, say the hosts.
Fee – Rs.5,000.
Satwik Gade has illustrated books for Tulika and Karadi Tales and has led workshops for Max
Mueller Bhavan | Goethe Institut. His debut graphic novel, The Alice Project (HarperCollins,
2023), received critical acclaim.
